- The Ministry of Tourism during the year 2020 ended the execution of the project. Construction of works for the improvement of the dock of Puerto El Triunfo, municipality of Puerto El Triunfo, Department of Usulután, with funds from the loan contract of the IDB 2966/ OC -IS. However, the existing dock presented severe damage, depending on this problem, in that sense a structural and geotechnical consulting was carried out, which, within its conclusions determined and concluded that the work is in a state of total loss. Therefore, the recovery of this infrastructure is necessary to provide the population of the Bay of Jiquilisco of infrastructure that allows them to embark for their daily lives and market their products, etc. As well as, this infrastructure is to enhance tourism in the area, and consequently the revitalization of the economy of the area.
