- Expression of Interest are invited for Institutional and Regulatory Assessment to Support the Financing of Electric Buses in the City of Salvador The World Bank is interested in promoting electric buses to provide clean transport solutions to Brazilian urban cities. The municipality of Salvador has recently joined the RacetoZero and RacetoResilience campaigns, supported by the UK government, to boost sustainable urban mobility in the city through non-motorized transport and the electrification of the bus fleet. The WB is looking for a Consultant to analyze and propose legal and institutional arrangements and strategies to support the Municipality of Salvador in the adoption of e-buses under new business models based on different degrees of asset separation, allowing greater participation of private actors (investors/energy companies). Consultants should explore, design and suggest potential guarantee and legal structures to support the project and advance on the e-mobility space, mobilizing private investments for the adoption of e-buses in the city. Qualification Criteria · 1. Provide information showing that they are qualified in the field of the assignment. · 2. Provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm. · 3. Provide information on their core business and years in business. · 4. Provide information on the qualifications of key staff.
