- Expression of Interest are invited for Optimizing and Reforming Energy Subsidies in El Salvador. The objective of the assignment is to undertake a comprehensive review and analysis of the existing methodology and regulatory framework governing the energy subsidy program in El Salvador and propose a replacement of the current subsidy mechanisms with an enhanced mechanism. This analytical work will identify gaps in comparison with international good practices and based on the findings from a past energy subsidy analysis undertaken, and make recommendations for the design, implementation, and improvement of the energy subsidy program aimed at improving the population's quality of life and promoting sustainable economic development.
